Herald Coaster, August 7, 1985:

Services for Florine Ann Eversole, 80, of Bay City, will be held 10 a.m. Thursday at Emmanuel United Church of Christ in Needville. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. Officiating will be Rev. William Haskell of St. Paul's Methodist Church in Bay City.

Mrs. Eversole died Tuesday in a Bay City hospital. She was born March 18, 1925 in Needville.

Survivors include her husband, Gilbert Boyd Eversole of Bay City; a daughter, Cheryl Harrison of Channelview; a son, Craig Eversole of Damon. Also, two sisters, Hulda Leissner of Damon and Viola Kapalski of West Columbia; three brothers, Herbert and Alvin Kettler of Needville and Charles Kettler of Rosenberg; two grandchildren.

Friends may call after 4 p.m. Wednesday at Garmany & Carden Funeral Chapel in Needville. Arrangements are under direction of Taylor Bros. Funeral Home in Bay City.
