Howard Frederick Grubaugh was born 2 Feb 1898 in Perrysville, Ashland, OH to
John Ramsey Grubaugh (#31669991) and Emma Jane Russell (31669999). He was the
9th of 10 children born to his parents. He moved to Akron shortly before he
married Marjorie D. Riley on 27 Nov 1918 in Akron, Summit, OH. They had only
one child, William Howard Grubaugh who was born on 15 Jul 1919 and died a
year-and-a-half later on 13 Mar 1921. Howard worked in a rubber factory in
Akron for most of his life. He died 4 Dec 1976 in Massillon, Stark, OH.
