Dorothy Isabelle Grubaugh was born in 1901 to John Ramsey Grubaugh and Emma Jane Russell. She was the youngest of their ten children. She was raised in Hanover township in Ashland County and married Arthur Joseph Wilson on 17 Nov 1925 in Elkins, WV. She married Arthur Martin on 23 May 1936 in Wellsburg, WV. She didn't have any children with either marriage. Dorothy and Arthur moved to Akron where they spent the rest of their lives. Dorothy Isabelle died in 1966 and Arthur died 17 years later. He never remarried.

Services for Mrs. Dorothy Isabelle (Belle) Martin, 64, of 3724 Summit rd., Norton, will be a 2 pm Thursday at Prentice Kenmore Funeral Home. Burial will be in Greenlawn Cemetery. Mrs. Martin died unexpectedly Monday. She had attended a family reunion the day before in Loudonville. She is a former employee of Akron Towel Supply Co. and was active in the Salvation Army Auxiliary. Mrs. Martin leaves her husband, Arthur; sisters, Maude Haeferle of Akron and Nettie Jones of Perrysville; and a brother, Howard, of Norton. Captain Joseph DeMichael of the Barberton Salvation Army and Richard Howard of Trinity United Church of Christ will officiate at the services.
