Brassington Funeral will be Saturday

The funeral for Merle M. Brassington, 61, of 2534 E. Dayton St, who died Wednesday will be at 1 p.m. in the Schroeder Funeral Home, 3325 E. Washington Ave. He was the owner of the Brassington Construction Co which has been operating in Madison for the past five years. He had previously operated the company for 15 years in Denver, CO. Surviving are his wife, Helen; a son, William, Denver, CO; two daughters, Barbara at home and Mrs. William Stinson, 3100 Buena Vista St; Five brothers, William, Denver, CO, Francis, Waunakee, Lloyd 4113 Barby Ln; Marion, 3220 Mineral Point Rd, and Lynn, Verona; four sisters, Mrs. Arnold Selje, 807 Vernon Rd; Mrs. Arthur Smith, McLean, VA, Mrs. Harold Turk, South Bend, IN, and Mrs. Richard Frank, White Pigeon, MI; his parents, Mr & Mrs.William Brassington, Verona; and five grandchildren. Friends may call after 4 p.m. today at the funeral home. Memorials may be made to the American Cancer Society.
