Barbara Ann Brassington, age 54, died on Saturday, April 24, 1993, in a Madison hospital. She was born on November 10, 1938 in Madison, the daughter of Merle and Helen (Albright) Brassington. She was a member of Lakeview Lutheran church and the Happy Hour Club. She is survived by her mother, Helen Brassington of Madison; a sister, Judi (Jim) Burke of Madison. a brother, William (Sue) Brassington, of Hudson, CO, nieces and nephews, great-neices; great-nephews; aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Merle. Funeral services will be held at 10:30 a.m. on Tuesday, April 27, 1993 at the Schroeder-Cress Funeral Home, 3325 East Washington Ave., with Reverend Stephan Gonzkow-Wold officiating. Burial will be in the Middleton Junction cemetery. Friends may call at the funeral home on Monday, April 26, 1993 from 4:00 p.m. until 6:00 p.m. The family suggests that flowers be omitted and memorials made to the National Ataxia Foundation, 750 Twelve Oaks Center, 15500 Wayzata Blvd., Wayzata, MN 55391. God blessed our family with Barbara, and for that we'll always be grateful. She has made our lives, and the lives of all who knew her, so much richer. Her smiles could light up the world, and she gave them freely. You've taken a piece of our hearts with you and we'll miss you. Our heartfelt thanks to all the very special people who have worked with Barb or cared for her with love and compassion. We are eternally grateful to you all.
