Mr. Diskey was a life resident of Marion. He began his business in 1924 as Diskey Advertising Service, and in 1960, he became the secretary and treasurer of Diskey Sign Corp.
He was a graduate of Marion College and a member of the Elks Lodge and was formerly involved in the Chamber of Commerce and the Kiwanis Club.
Survivors include his wife, Beulah; three sons, Willis E. and Richard M., both of Fort Wayne, and Gene Emerson, Dallas; one daughter, Norma L. Borror, Long Beach, Calif.; two brothers, Ralph and Arthur, both of Marion; a sister, Mary Oswalt, Marion; seven grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday in the Needham Storey Funeral Service, North Chapel, 1341 N. Baldwin Avenue.
Burial will be in the Estates of Serenity cemetery, Marion. (It was formerly call IOOF Cemetery).
Friends may call from 2 to 4 p.m. and from 6 to 8 p.m. today at the funeral home. Dec. 28, 1902 ---- July 24, 1992
