Diskey Funeral Rites for Tuesday

John Diskey, 72, died at 11:00 a.m. Saturday after suffering a heart attack at his home 3558 South Boots Street.

Mr. Diskey has been a resident of Grant County for the last 50 years. For many years he was employed by the City and later he worked for Barley & Spencer Lumber Company. He retired in 1942.

Survivors include the widow Celia; six sons--John, Walter, Edward, Ralph, Elmer & Arthur, all of Marion; three daughters--Miss Rose Diskey, Miss Ida Mary Diskey, and Miss Iva Diskey, all of Marion; one sister, Mrs. James Bradley, Marion; and 16 grandchildren.

Last rites will be held at 2:00 p.m. Tuesday at the Diskey home, with the Rev. A. L. Singer, Muncie Wesleyan Church, assisted by Royal S. Woodhead, College Wesleyan Church, in charge. Burial will be in IOOF Cemetery.

The body was returned from 2901 South Washington Street to the Diskey residence Saturday night.
