FOLLOWS HUSBAND BY DEATH BY THREE WEEKS:
Mrs. Lula Landon, 73, of Beaverton, died suddenly at her home on Sunday, April 27, 1958.
The former Miss Lula Chivington was born March 1, 1884, in Paulding, Ohio. She was married to Wilbur "Ben" McCoy on February 27, 1937, in Clare, Michigan and they came to Beaverton to reside 18, years. She was a member of the Beaverton Methodist Church and the Women's Society of Christian Service's at the Church.
Her husband preceded her in death three weeks ago on April 2.
She is survived by three sons, Lloyd of Chelsea, Michigan, Cecil and Willis, both of Mt. Pleasant and a daughter, Mrs. Ila Eisenberger, of Shepherd, Michigan; a stepson, Jim McCoy, of Findlay, Ohio; 19 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Earl, of Freeland, Michigan; Dallas, of Alma, Michigan and Burl, of Lansing, Michigan and one sister, Mrs. Lauree Morton, of Mason, Michigan.
Funeral services were held on April 30, 1958, at 1:30 P.M. at the Beaverton Methodist Church, with the Reverend Verne Summers officiating and burial was in the Chippewa Township Cemetery in Isabella County, Michigan.
