Willis Clayton Landon, 83, died Friday, August 5, 1994, at his residence.
Funeral services are scheduled for 2:00 P.M. Monday at the Reorganized Church of Latter-Day Saints in Mt. Pleasant (Isabella County), Michigan with the Elder Raymond Ecker officiating and burial will be in the Memorial Gardens in Mt. Pleasant, Michigan.
Friends may call the Helms Funeral Home in Mt. Pleasant today from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. and from 7:00 to 9:00 P.M. Memorials may be given to the Hospice of Central Michigan. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
Mr. Landon was born May 3, 1911, in Isabella County to Charles and Lula (Chivington) Landon. He married Violet Methner in Mt. Pleasant in 1932.
An area resident for most of his life, Mr. Landon was a member of the Mt. Pleasant Moose Lodge and an avid bowler. He bowled for 40 years in the Mt. Pleasant Bowling League. Mr. Landon also enjoyed his grandchildren.
He is survived by his wife, Violet; Thomas (Lenore) Landon, of Boyne City; four grandchildren; six great-grandchildren, and one sister, Ila Eisenberger, of Owosso.
He was preceded in death by both parents.
