CHIVINGTON RITES SATURDAY PM IN FUNERAL HOME

Funeral rites for the late Willis Jasper Chivington, age 81, East Livingston Street, who died Wednesday are arranged for Saturday at 2:00 P.M. at the Dick and Stalter's Funeral Home, with the Reverend Aaron Sharp officiating and interment will take place in the Elm Grove Cemetery in St. Mary's (Auglaize County), Ohio.
Friends may call the Dick and Stalter Funeral Home after 7:30 P.M. today, until the time of the funeral rites.
He was born July 8, 1875, the son of Charles Rmery Chivington and Martha Ann (Miller) Chivington. He was a retired farmer, living for about 50 years in Mercer County, Ohio and after his retirement about 15 years ago he has lived in Celina, Ohio. He had been ill a long time and died in Gibbons Hospital.
He was first married to Melissa Cain, and she passed away in 1939. He later married Clara Hartzog who survives.
He is survived by his children; Olen Willis Chivington, of Celina, Ohio, Don, Dale, Boyd and Ivan Chivington, of St. Mary's (Auglaize County), Ohio; Reverend Claude Chivington, of Broomville, Ohio; Mrs. Wilbur Cully, of Willshire; and Mrs. Francis Kruse and Mrs. Ila (Eugene) Bushong, both of St. Mary's (Auglaize County), Ohio.
He is also survived by 28 grandchildren; 16 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Dallas Chivington, of Alma (Gratiot County), Michigan; Burland Chivington, of Flint (Genesee County), Michigan, Earl Chivington, of Saginaw, Michigan and two sisters, Mrs. Ben McCoy, of Beaverton, Michigan and Mrs. Walter Morton, of Mason (Ingham County), Michigan.
