World War II veteran: Flew 35 combat missions over Japan as a B-29 gunner. He earned the Distinguished Flying Cross.

In 1972, he succeeded his father as chairman of the Anthony Co and retired in 1986.

After retiring, he raised money for United Way, Downtown Lions Club and YMCA, served as president of each organization and served in many other charities and organizations.

Graduated from Classen HS in 1930.
Bus Adm degree from University of Oklahoma, 1934.
