Guy M., 76, died Wednesday at St. Anthony Hospital. Born in Cleveland, Ok., April 26, 1915, he was the second son of C.R. Anthony, founder of the department store chain. He worked in the family business for 50 years, serving as president from 1972 until his retirement in 1980. He was a member of the Classen High School Class of 1931, and a 1936 graduate of the Wharton School of Finance; served three years in the South Pacific during WWII and returned to Oklahoma in 1945 with the rank of Captain and a Bronze Star. Guy and the former Christine Holland of Enid were married in 1945, and have spent the last 46 years together. He is survived by his wife, Christine and their six sons, Ross, Guy Jr., Bob, Jay, Jack and Tom, as well as their wives and 1 2 grandchildren; brother, Ray; sisters, Helen Galloway and Dana Clasby.
