Services Slated On Tuesday For Forrest George
Services for Forrest George, 58, of 3121 E. Hight St., will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday in Oakland Presbyterian Church with the Rev. David L. Hadden officiating.
Friends may call at the Jackson, Lytle, and Coffman Funeral Home from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Monday. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Gardens.

Cab, Bus Service Set to Continue
Offices of the Circle Cab Co., and the Springfield Bus Co. will be closed all day Tuesday due to the death of its president, Forrest George.
Company official said that this will not affect service by the companies on either Monday or Tuesday and that services will follow regular schedules.
Mr. George died Friday evening in the Mercy Medical Center.

A member of the Oakland Presbyterian Church, Mr. George was also a member of the Lions Club, Moose Lodge No. 536 and Champion Aerie No 397, Fraternal Order of Eagles.
Born April 24, 1914 in Portsmouth, he was the son of William and Nell Hill George.
Mr. George is survived by his wife, L. Marie; a son, Raymond W of Dayton; a daughter, Mrs. Dean (Judy) Hough of Springfield; five brothers, Virgil of Springfield, Walter of San Francisco, Calif. Dale of Marysville, Frank S. of Xenia and William of Racine, Wis.; four sisters, Mrs. Katherine Wikoff of Springfield, Mrs. Ferne Sammons of Dayton, Mrs. Rosalie Landess of Springfield, and Mrs. Essie Mae Tritle of Springfield; three grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
