82, of Russells Point, Ohio died at 2:52 p.m., May 11, 1999, in his residence. He was born June 26, 1916 in Sciotoville, Ohio, the son of William and Nell (Hill) George. He retired from Bendix as a Quality Assurance Inspector in 1986 after 33 years of employment and was a member of the Eagles Lodge in Lakeview, Ohio. Survivors include a son and daughter-in-law, Frank and Julia George, Orange County, California; daughter, Connie Powell, Dayton, Oho; three sisters, Ferne Sammons, Rosalee Landess and Essie Trittle, all of Springfield, Ohio; brother, Dale George, Russells Point, Ohio; five grandchildren; three great-grandchildren and a number of nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary E. in 1990; son Terry David George and grandson, Adam Powell. Friends may call from 5-7 p.m. Thursday in the CONROY FUNERAL HOME. Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Friday in the funeral home with Dr. Steve Minor officiating. Burial will be in Glen Haven Memorial Garden.
