OBITUARY FROM THE ABILENE REPORTER NEWS: Mrs. A. Bredthauer

STAMFORD (RNS) -- Mrs. Alvin Bredthauer, 57, of Stamford died at 2 a.m. Monday in a Houston hospital where she had been a patient for two days.
Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Faith Lutheran Church in Sagerton. The Rev. Josef Aalbue, pastor, will officiate. Burial will be in Highland Memorial Cemetery in Stamford under direction of Kinney Funeral Home.
Mrs. Bredthauer was born Adela Gaskamp Feb. 26, 1917, in Zionsville. She married Alvin Bredthauer Feb. 23, 1938, in Zionsville. They moved to Stamford in December 1941.
She is survived by her husband; one son, Harold of Houston; two grandchildren; her parents, Mr. and Mrs. George Gaskamp of Brenham; two brothers, Rudolph Gaskamp of Waco and Herbert Gaskamp of Brenham; five sisters, Mrs. Meta Glaesmann of Brenham, Mrs. Lydia Blum and Mrs. Laura Glenz, both of Burton, Mrs. Adeline Kelm of Waco, and Mrs. Selma Klander of Riesel.
