RULE (RNS) - Mrs. Dorothy Mae Carter, 19, a former resident of Rule, died in a Commerce, Tex., hospital at 8 a.m. Saturday while giving birth to a child. The infant, a boy, survived.
Mrs. Carter's husband, Carroll, is a junior student at East Texas State Teachers College. Her parents are Mr. and Mrs. A. E. Bredthauer of Sagerton.
Funeral will be held at 4 p.m. Sunday in the St. Paul Lutheran Church at Sagerton under direction of Pinkard Funeral Home. The pastor, the Rev. I. F. Schefiel, will officiate.
Burial will be in Rule Cemetery. Mrs. Carter was born May 3, 1941, at Brenham, and graduated from Rule High School in 1958.
Surviving in addition to her parents, is one brother, Harold, of the home.
The parents have requested any memorials be made in the form of contributions to the St. Paul Lutheran Church Building fund.
