Herbert Clinton Geiger

Herbert Clinton Geiger, 77, formerly of 512 Hawthorne Avenue, died at 4:20 a.m. today (May 22, 1959( at Kittanning, RD 5.
Mr. Geiger was born May 13, 1882, in Cowanshannock Twp., a son of Benjamin and Angeline McIntyre [McIntire] Geiger. His wife and daughter preceded him in death.
Survivors are two brothers, Edward [Joseph Edmund] of Jacksonville, Fla., and O.S. [Oscar Shields] of Kittanning RD 5; four sisters, Mrs. Rose Foster of Kittanning, Mrs. W.A. (Dessie) Bowser of Kittanning RD 5, Mrs. Ella Grace Schrecengost of New Castle and Mrs. Boyd (Laura May) [Laura Maude] Weaver of Kittanning, RD 5.
Funeral arrangements in charge of Merwin (Smith) funeral home are not complete.

Funeral services for Herbert Clinton Geiger, formerly of 512 Hawthorne Ave., will be held at 2 o'clock Sunday afternoon, May 24, 1959, in the Merwin funeral home.
Rev. Robert H. Thurau, Ph.D., pastor of St. John's Lutheran Church, of which Mr. Geiger was a member, will conduct the service.
Burial will be made in the family plot in Pleasant Union Lutheran Church cemetery.
