Laura Maude Weaver, 85, Kittanning RD 5, died at 7:10 a.m. Friday, May 12, 1978, at the West Haven Rest Home, Apollo.

She was born in Echo, April 14, 1893, the daughter of Benjamin T. Geiger and Angeline (Mcntyre) Geiger. She was a member of the Pleasant Union Lutheran Church, the Dorcas Society of the church and the Lutheran Church Women's Association.

Her husband, Boyd Henry Weaver is deceased.

Surviving are daughters, Mrs. Mary Hoover of Livermore, Calif., Mrs. Charles I. (Mildred) Rosenberger of Yatesboro, Mrs. Chester F. (Velma) Mechling of Kittanning RD 5, Mrs. William R. (Eva) Andryka of Yatesboro; a son, Ivan H. of Fairmount, W. Va.; a sister, Mrs. Ella Schrecengost of New Castle; 15 grandchildren, 28 great grandchildren and two great-great grandchildren.

WEAVER - Friends of Laura Maude Weaver, who died May 12, 1978, will be received from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Sunday at the Roy W. Carson Funeral Home, Rural Valley where service will be at 10 a.m. Monday conducted by the Rev. J. Samuel John and assisted by Vicar Paul Krischner. Burial will be at Pleasant Union Lutheran Cemetery. The family requests that in lieu of flowers donations be made to the Shannock Valley Medical Center. Arrangements by Carson.
