THEODORE BRILL

Theodore Brill, 96, of 58 Brooklyn St., Chilton, died Tuesday afternoon at Calumet Memorial Hospital where he had been a patient since Sunday.Mr. Brill was born in the Town of New Holstein Feb. 23, 1862, a son of William and Kathryn Brill, and spent most of his life in Calumet and Sheboygan counties.
He was married to Julia George at St. Paul, Kan., on Oct. 18, 1886, farmed in that area for a time, then returned to farm in the Town of Russell, Sheboygan County. He served as school clerk for nine years and clerk of the Town of Russell for 12 years.
In 1922 the couple moved to Kiel, and Mr. Brill served as city clerk there for 12 years.
Mrs. Brill died on July, 1939. Later, Mr. Brill was married to Helena Siegmund, and in 1949 the couple moved to Chilton where she died in December, 1950.
Mr. Brill leaves four sons, Isidore, of Oshkosh, Everest, of Milwaukee, Arthur, of Kiel, and Raymond, of Ft. Atkinson; one daughter, Mrs. Nick (Lucy) Possley, Fond du Lac; 10 grandchildren; and 29 great-grandchildren. One son, Norbert, five brothers, and five sisters preceded Mr. Brill in death.
