Mrs. Petesch Dies in Falls
Mrs. Veronica Petesch, 79, died at her home in Great Falls last Tuesday night following an illness extending over the past 15 months.
Mrs. Petesch was born June 6, 1871, in New Holstein, Wisconsin. She moved to Geyser with her family in 1912, where she resided until moving to Great Falls in 1937 and where she has since resided.
She is survived by four sons and five daughters, and other relatives and many friends. Mrs. Petesch was the mother of Mrs. Amy Bartley, who resided in Fort Benton for a number of years and who served several years as postmaster of this city. Mrs. Barley has resided in Anchorage, Alaska, since resigning as postmaster here in March 1947. She arrived last week to attend the funeral services.
