Mamie Blankenstein was baptized September 22, 1887, at her parents' home by the pastor of the Perry German Methodist Church of Perry, Falls County, Texas. Mamie Blankenstein was confirmed on April 12, 1903, by Pastor H. Grosse at the St. Peter's Evangelical Church near West, McLennan County, Texas.
Mamie married Paul Lehmann on Dec. 4, 1906, in St. Paul's Evangelical Church of Gerald; Pastor C. Wolff performed the marriage ceremony, and their witnesses were Karl Itschner, Anna Boettger, Richard Schmaltz, and Mamie Baade.
Paul and Mamie Blankenstein Lehmann were married 55 years.

Rites to be today (Fri.) for Mrs. Lehmann
Mrs. Mary Lehmann of Route 2, West, a resident of the area for more than 65 years, died at 2:30 a.m. Monday in a Waco nursing home.
Funeral services will be conducted at 10 a.m. today, (Friday Aug. 16) at St. Paul's United Church of Christ with Rev. Paul A. Kluge officiating. Interment will follow in the family plot of Gerald Cemetery.
Mrs. Lehmann was 83. She was born in Marlin. She married Paul Lehmann on Dec. 4, 1906, in St. Paul's Church in Gerald. He died in 1962.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
Aderhold Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
Mrs. Lehmann was a member of St. Paul's United Church of Christ in Gerald.
Surviving are one son, Paul A. Lehmann of Rancho Cordova, Calif.; six daughters, Mrs. Marie Drews of Route 1, West, Mrs. Hedwig Leuschner of Route 2, West, Mrs. Gertrude Jahnke of 606 Theresa in Waco, Mrs. Bertha Vahrenkamp of 2130 Live Oak in Waco, Mrs. Clara Wedeking of Houston, and Mrs. Minnie Spurgeon of 1929 Lyle in Waco; three brothers, Richard Blankenstein and Siegfried Blankenstein of Fort Worth and Paul Blankenstein of 506 Maxfield in Bellmead; three sisters, Mrs. Alma Banik of Crosby, Mrs. Frieda Bode of Dayton and Mrs. Elsie Forkel of 1704 North Eleventh Street in Waco; 28 grandchildren and 46 great-grandchildren.
