Funeral Wednesday of Mrs. M. Blankenstein*
Illness of lengthy duration resulted in the death at 8:15 Monday night of Mrs. Mamie E. Blankenstein 64 years old, who passed away at the home of her daughter, Mrs. Carl Forkel, 15522 North Seventh Street. She had been a resident of Waco only a short time, having lived at Leroy for the last 15 years.
The funeral will take place Wednesday morning at 10 o'clock at Elm Mott, from the home of her daughter at that place, Mrs. Henry Baade, and Rev. John Link, pastor of the German Evangelical church at Gerald will officiate. Interment will be made in the cemetery at Gerald where the body will be taken in Compton's auto hearse.
Surviving Mrs. Blankenstein are three sons, Richard Blankenstein, Fort Worth, Sigfried Blankenstein, Galveston; Paul Blankenstein, Gerald; Mrs. P. Loman, West; Mrs. Carl Forkel, Waco; Mrs. Albert Banick, Ross, and Mrs. Henry Baade, Elm Mott. She also has three sisters and one brother in Germany.

Marie Dorothea Elisabeth Friedrichs was baptized May 26, 1861, in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Eilsleben, Germany, and she was confirmed March 21, 1875, in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in Ummendorf, Germany.
