Siegfried Richard Paul Blankenstein was the youngest child of Gottfried Friedrich August "Fred" Blankenstein and Marie Dorothea Elisabeth (Friedrichs) Blankenstein.
Siegfried Blankenstein was baptized October 21, 1906, by Pastor C. Wolff at St. Paul's Evangelical & Reformed Church in Gerald, Texas. His baptismal sponsors were Richard Schmaltz, Paul Lehmann, and Louise Weissinger.
Siegfried Blankenstein was confirmed April 6, 1919, by Pastor John Link at St. Paul's Evangelical & Reformed Church (now St. Paul's United Church of Christ) in Gerald, Texas.
Siegfried married Noda Mae Inglis on Dec. 14, 1926, in Fort Worth.
They were the parents of five children.
