Paul John Blankenstein, age 86 of 506 Maxfield died at 10:05 a.m. Thursday in a local hospital.
Funeral services: 10 a.m. Saturday at Connally-Compton Downtown Chapel, Rev. Charles McAfee officiating, burial in Gerald Cemetery.
Survivors: his wife, Mrs. Anna C. Blankenstein of 509 Maxfield, three sons. H. H. Blankenstein of 4512 Idylewood. Paul O. Blankenstein of 3900 Trice, Harvey F. Blankenstein of Longview; two daughters, Mrs. Lulcille Petty of 1311 lexington, Mrs. Margaret Nix of 1041 Southwood; two brothers, Seigfried Blankenstein and Richard J. Blankenstein both of Fort Worth; three sisters, Mrs. Elsie Forkel of Robinson, Mrs. Elfrieda Bode and Mrs. Alma Banik both of Dayton Tex.; 11 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren.
Active pallbearers: Clark Montgomery, Michael Cumpston, Robert Blankenstein, Gary Kreder, Ollie Kreder, Ricky Curry, Randy Curry.
