Alma married Albert Gustav Banik on Oct. 3, 1918, in Gerald, McLennan Co., Texas; Pastor John Link performed the marriage cereomony, and their wedding attendants were Hulda Banik, Herman Kreder, Elsie Kreder and Herman Banik.

MRS. ALMA DORA BANIK
Mrs. Alma Dora Banik, 82, Crosby, passed away at 7 p.m. Sunday in San Jacinto Methodist Hospital, Baytown. She was born in Waco, a former resident of the Eastgate Community, and a Crosby resident for 30 years. She was a member of Our Shepherd Lutheran Church.
Survivors include a son, Theodore F. Banik of Crosby; daughter, Dora E. Matocha, Highlands; brother, Siegfried Blankenstein, Fort Worth; sister, Frieda Bode, Dayton; eight grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
Services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, at Our Shepherd Lutheran Church, Crosby, with Rev. Robert E. Jones officiating. Burial was in Magnolia Park Cemetery, Dayton, under the direction of Sterling Funeral Home.
Pallbearers were Ted Banik, Jr., Marvin Banik, Melvin Banik, Vance Banik, Frankie Matocha, Marshall Rolke, Joe Smesny, and William Fajkus.
