Carl was born March 3, 1914, in Weldon, to Jerry Myrse Lamb (1888-1965) and Bessie (Turpin) Lamb (1893-1980.
Survivors include two daughters, Audrey (Philip) West, Farmer City, and Nanci Carlene (Mike) Bowling, Yuma, Ariz.; one son, Steven (Jo Beth) Lamb, Geneva, Ala.; six grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one brother; and two sisters.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Leona Normalee (Reck) (1925-2007) on Oct. 4, 2007; his parents; four brothers; and five sisters.
He worked as an electrician and was a U.S. Army veteran of World War II and the Korean Conflict.
