Wilbert M. Lamb, 85, rural Bloomington, died at 12 :55 a.m. Friday (May 12, 2006) at BroMenn Regional Medical Center, Normal.
Wilbert was born to Jerry M and Bessie Jane (Turpin) Lamb on March 20, 1921. He married Reva Christine Gifford in June 1949. He later married Joy Harvey.
Mr. Lamb was predeceased by his parents, 8 brothers and sisters (Mary Belle Spencer, Geneva Jane Dever, Lucille Burris, Rosella, James, Paul David and Odell.)
Survivors include his children, Kenneth Lamb, Carlock; David lamb, Tennessee; Arnold Lamb, Carlock; Richard (Pam) Lamb, North Carolina; Jane ann (Jerry) Long, Bloomington; Becky (Robin) Mardis, Indiana; Darrell (Bonnie) Lamb, Missouri; Jerry (Karen) Lamb, Bloomington; and Susan Lamb, Texas.
Two brothers, Carl (Norma) Lamb, Yuma, Az; and Cecil (Irene) Lamb, Clinton; three sisters, Edith Zimmerman, Farmer City; Erma Bell, Clinton; and Opal Foulks, Farmer City; 21 grandchildren and seven great grand children.
Burial with military honors at Greenleaf Cemetery, Farmer City.
