The funeral of Paul David Lamb, 64, of 203 E. Market St., will be Saturday, 21 March 1987, at Stensel-Calvert-Belangee FH, Farmer City.

Bishop Craig H. Isenbarger will officiate. Burial will be in Maple Grove Cemetery, Farmer City, where graveside military rites will be accorded. Visitation will be from 6 to 9 pm Friday at the funeral home.

Mr. Lamb died at 10:30 am Tuesday, Mar 17, 1987, at Carle Foundation Hospital, Urbana.

He was born oct 3, 1922, in rural Farmer City, s/o Jerry M. and Bessie Jane Turpin Lamb. He married Anna Lucile Scarbrough on Dec 10, 1950 at Camp McCoy, Wisconsin. She survives.

Other survivors include one son, Douglas David, at home; five brothers, Carl, James, Cecil and Odell, all of Farmer City, and Wilbert, Bloomington; and six sisters, Mary Spencer, Geneva Dever and Erma Howell, all of Clinton; and Edith Zimmerman, Lucille Burris and Opal Foulks, all of Farmer City.

He was preceded in death by one sister.

Mr. Lamb was employed by the State of Illinois Water Survey. He served in the U.S. Army for 31 years, retiring as a sergeant major. He was a veteran of WWII, the Korean conflict and the VietNam War.

He was a member of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints, Champaign; Joe Williams Post 55 American Legion, Farmer City; and Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 6190, Farmer City.

Memorials may be made to a charity of the donor's choice.
