Clara Alice Remy, age 81, of 271 S. Gift St., Columbus, Thursday, Mt. Carmel Medical Center. Retired from Mt. Carmel Hospital. Survived by husband Hollace C. Remy; sons Carl, Delmar, Clarence, Dale, Clyde, and Gene, all of Columbus; daughters, Nita, O'Conner, Columbus, Margaret Williams, Margate City, N.J., Reah Ives, Grove City, Patricia Davidson, Columbus; daughter-in-law, Mary Remy, Columbus; 23 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by son. Wayne Remy; and twin sons. Funeral service Monday 10 a.m. Schoedinger State Street Chapel, where friends may call Sunday 2-4 and 7-9 p.m. Interment 1 p.m. Monday Elk Cemetery, McArthur, Oh. Rev Standley D. Wallace officiating.
