Francis Eugene "Gene" Remy was the sixth son and one of 13 children of Hollace Clarence Remy and Clara Alice Moss Remy. He was born on the family farm outside of McArthur, in Elk Township, Ohio. He was a WWII Veteran, father of 5 and proud to be a member of the Georgesville Volunteer Fire department and co-owner of Remy Sheet Metal along with his brothers Delmar Nevan and Clarence Remy. It was founded in 1957. Gene was a jovial and benevolently mischievous person that was well loved by his family and numerous friends.
