Born on June 28, 1922 in McArthur, Ohio he was the third son and the fifth of 13 children of the late Hollace Clarence and Clara Alice (Moss) Remy. He worked for the War Depot during the war shipping supplies. Since 1957 he was a co-owner Remy Sheet Metal along with brothers Delmar Nevan and Francis Eugene (Gene) Remy. He was a horse race enthusiast, played the guitar and enjoyed fishing.
He is preceded in death by his wife Virginia and his son Jerry.
He is survived by sons Jack (Crystal) and Jeff Remy. Funeral services will be held on Tuesday, September 6, 2011 at 9:30 AM at SCHOEDINGER HILLTOP CHAPEL, 3030 West Broad, Street, Columbus, Ohio 43204, with interment at 1:00 PM at Elk Cemetery, McArthur, OH.
In lieu of flowers memorial contributions may be made to Mt. Carmel Hospice, 1144 Dublin Rd., Columbus, Ohio.
