Mrs. Sallie W. Strickler, 69, died suddenly Monday night at nine-fifteen at her home in Greenville. Mrs. Strickler, widow of the late Frank Strickler, had been in her usual health and death was unexpected. She is suvived by the following children: L.S. Strickler, Mt. Sidney; D.W. Strickler, Lone Fountain: Mrs. M.V. Swisher, Floyd M., J.F., B.D., Walter D., Mrs. E.D. Kesterson, all of Greenville, and Albert Strickler, Hammond, Ind. Also surivving are two sisters, Mrs. Emma Troxell, Staunton, and Mrs. Mary Wade, Fordwick; two brothers, William Swisher, Walkers Creek and Daniel Swisher, Brownsburg. Furneral services will be held Thursday morning from the New Providence Church conducted by Dr. Herbert S. Turner and assisted by Dr. Locke White and Dr. M.B. Grier. Burial will be in the adjoining cemeterey. Active pallbearers will be Russell, John, Otha, and Carl Swisher, and Bud and Roy Wade. Flowerbearers: Hazel, Harold, Hunter, Junior, D.W., Dorothy, Guy, Fred, Frank, Loyd, Shelbey, Fay and Bernice Strickler and Glenna, Doris, Walter, and Gay Kesterson.
