Francis Emanuel "Baz" Mattingly, 94, Loretto Road, Lebanon, died Feb. 13, 2005, at Spring View Hospital, Lebanon. Born in Lebanon July 30, 1910, Mattingly was a farmer. He was preceded in death by: his wife, Mary Anna Daily Mattingly; parents, James Arthur and Georgiana Mattingly; two infant daughters, Mary Frances and Mary Francine; two grandsons, Brian Robert Mattingly and Joseph Edward Alford Jr.; four brothers, Bert, Pete, Sim and James Arthur Mattingly; and four sisters, Mary Ollie Smith, Della Wendell, Nettie Fields and Nanny Rose Blair. Survivors include: four daughters, Judy Alford of Loretto, Mary Mattingly of Lebanon and Patsy Mattingly and Della Gribbins, both of Calvary; three sons, Frank Mattingly of Lebanon, Randall Mattingly at home and Robert Mattingly of Loretto; three sisters, Ann Wheatley of Springfield, Laura Jean Nalley of Loretto and Frances Stubbs of Louisville; 19 grandchildren; and 27 great-grandchildren. A funeral Mass will be held at 1 P.M. today, Feb. 16, at St. Charles Catholic Church in St. Mary, with burial in the church cemetery. Rev. Gary Young will officiate. Pallbearers will be grandsons-Billy and Robbie Alford, Scott, Joe Dale and Brad Mattingly, Ricky Osborne, Jesse and James Bohannon and Brandon and Chad Mattingly. Mattingly Funeral Home, Loretto, is in charge of the arrangements.

Francis Emanuel "Baz" Mattingly, 94, of Loretto Road, Lebanon, died Sunday, Feb. 13, 2005 at Spring View Hospital in Lebanon. He was born July 30, 1910 at Lebanon and was a lifelong farmer.
