Anna Boren Adamson, 87, passed away on Monday, April 28, 2008 at her home. She resided at 22 South 500 East in Pleasant Grove, Utah at the time of her death.
Anna was born June 18, 1920 in Charleston, Utah to Archie and Myrtle Daybell Boren.
She married Grant Allen Adamson on February 24, 1941 in Heber City. Their marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake Temple. Grant passed away in 1987.
Anna grew up in Charleston and later moved with her family to Pleasant Grove, where she graduated from Pleasant Grove High School in 1938.
Her father owned and operated the Boren Market on Main Street where Anna worked as a child alongside her family. After her marriage, she and Grant made their home in Pleasant Grove, where they raised their five boys.
Anna was an active member of the LDS Church and served faithfully in many callings. She enjoyed camping and family outings.
She is survived by her five sons: Allen G. (Carolyn) Adamson, Sandy; Larry B. (Camille) Adamson, Pleasant Grove; Darryl D. (Sandi) Adamson, Albuquerque, NM; Kelvin B. (Chris) Adamson, Pleasant Grove; Jay D. Adamson, Pleasant Grove; 15 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren and sister, Thelma Swenson Ash, Pleasant Grove. She was preceded in death by seven siblings and two grandchildren.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, May 3, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. in the Pleasant Grove Second Ward Chapel, 455 East 200 South, Pleasant Grove, where friends may call from 12:00-1:45 p.m.
Interment will be in the Pleasant Grove City Cemetery under the direction of Olpin Family Mortuary, Pleasant Grove.
