PLEASANT GROVE -- Myrtle Daybell Boren, 90, 255 East 100 South died February 19, 1981.

Born August 31, 1890, in Charleston, Wasatch County, to William and Annie Price Daybell. Married Archie June 27, 1910, in Provo. Marriage was later solemnized in the Salt Lake LDS Temple. He died November 27, 1960. She was a member, LDS Church, residing in the Pleasant Grove 5th Ward, where she had served as Relief Society visiting teacher. She was a member of the DUP. She moved to Pleasant Grove from Charleston in June 1924.

Survivors include: three sons, three daughters, LaVell W. Boren, Mrs. LeRoy (Thelma) Ash, Mrs. Grant (Anna) Adamson, Jack Ray Boren and Lloyd D. Boren, all Pleasant Grove; Mrs. William F. (Lucille) Buff, American Fork; 36 grandchildren; 95 great-grandchildren, five great-great-grandchildren, brother, sister, Mrs. Lula Carlile, Heber City; Warren Daybell, St. George; two daughters and a son preseded her in death.

Funeral services will be Saturday, 11 a.m., Pleasant Grove 5th Ward Chapel, 200 East 500 South. Friends may call Olpin Family Mortuary, 494 South 300 East, Pleasant Grove, Friday, 7-9 p.m. or Saturday, at the church, one hour prior to services. Burial, Pleasant Grove City Cemetery.

PLEASANT GROVE COUPLE WILL HOLD OPEN HOUSE

PLEASANT GROVE--Mr. and Mrs. Archie Boren of Pleasant Grove, will celebrate their golden wedding anniversary, Sunday. An open house will be held at their home at 285 East 1st S. in Pleasant Grove. Friends and relatives are invited to call from 3 to 8 p.m. Mr. and Mrs. Boren request that their be no gifts.

Archie Boren was born in Wallsburg, Utah, May 28, 1889, a son of Jasper and Temperance Wall Boren.

Myrtle D. Boren was born in Charleston, Utah, August 31, 1890, a daughter of William and Annie Price Daybell.

Mr. and Mrs. Boren were married June 27, 1910 in the Salt Lake Temple. They have lived in Pleasant Grove for the past 37 years where Mr. Boren has operated a meat and grocery store for 18 years. They have both been very active in church and civic affairs.

They have a family of nine children, four sons and five daughters. Their seven surviving children are: LaVell W. Boren, Mrs. William F. (Lucille) Butt, Mrs. O. L. (Thelma) Swenson, Mrs. G. A. (Anna) Adamson, Jack Ray Boren and Lloyd D. Boren, all of Pleasant Grove and Glen A. Boren of Lehi. They have 35 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
