P. G. WOMAN DIES AT 46

Pleasant Grove--Mrs. Don (Verona) Holdaway, 46, died suddenly this morning in the Utah Valley Hospital of a short and acute illness.

She was born in Charleston April 11, 1911, a daughter of Archie and Myrtle Daybell Boren. She attended the Charleston schools for six years and moved to Pleasant Grove High School in 1929 and from the Henager Business College of Salt Lake City in 1930.

She married Milton Kirk in the Salt Lake LDS Temple in 1933. He died in 1946 and then she married Don Holdaway of Vineyard in 1950.

For the past five years she has been the office nurse for a Pleasant Grove physician and four years prior to that served as office nurse for a Provo physician.

She was active in LDS Church work and served in the various auxiliaries and at the time of her death, she and her husband were the dance directors for the Pleasant Grove First Ward MIA.

Surviving are her husband, parents, four daughters, Mrs. Theral (JOan) Richardson, Provo; Mrs. Kent (Gaylene) Harrison, Salt Lake City; Nona and Deann Kirk, Pleasant Grove; two grandchildren, four brothers and three sisters, LaVell Boren, Mrs. William F. (Lucille) Butt, Jack Ray Boren, Lloyd D. Boren, Mrs. O. L. (Thelma) Swenson, Mrs. Grant (Anna) Adamson, all of Pleasant Grove and Glen A. Boren of Lehi.

Funeral services will be announced later.
