Myrtle Jenette (Elliott) Hamilton, 85, of Chariton passed away December 21, 2020 at Care Initiatives in Chariton with family by her side.
Myrtle was born on June 16, 1935 to Robert Nisley and Fern Elizabeth (Rohrer) Elliott, on a farm north of Russell, Iowa. She was 9th out of 10 children. On April 9, 1954, She was united in marriage to Robert (Bob) Hamilton. They were blessed with 5 children, Marcia, Rhonda, Bonnie, Robert Jr. (Rob) and Patricia (Pat). Myrtle and Bob were blessed with 55 years in marriage before his passing in 2009.
A Celebration of life will be held Saturday, January 2, 2021 at Fielding Funeral Home from 2-4:00 p.m. Interment will be held at a later date. Memorials may be made to the family. On line condolences may be left at www.fieldingfuneralhomes.com.
