BISMARCK. ILL. - DONALD C. INGRAM, 87, who ran his own auto mechanic business many years in Bismarck, was found dead at 11:07 p.m. Sunday (March 17, 1983) at the Vermilion manor Nursing Home. He had been a patient there since August and had been ill since June.

Lyle Irvin, Vermilion County Coroner, is conductiong an inquiry. He attended Bismarck schools and Detroit Automotive School in Michigan. A life resident of the Bismarck area, he was a member of the Bismarck First Church of Christ and Bismarck Lions Club. His hobby was gardening. Born Aug. 25, 1895 in Newell Township, he was a son of Bert and Hester Carter Ingram. On Nov. 29, 1913, he was married to Edith Deneal. She preceded him in death.

Survivors include a son, Harold Dean of Bismarck; two brothers, Herman of Danville and Robert of Rossville, Ill.;
six sisters, Mrs. Emma Smith of Bismarck route 1, Mrs. Geraldean Clay of Gary, Ind., Mrs. Mary Stayton of Clearwater, Fla., Mrs. Ruth Johnson of Homewood, Ill., Mrs. Rae Shadeck of Chicago and Mrs. Margaret Ackers of Gary Ind.; three grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
He also was preceded in death by three brothers and a sister. Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday at the Bismarck First church of Christ. Kenneth Fetters will officiate. Burial will be in Gundy Cemetery at Bismarck. visitation will be from 2-4 and 6-8 p.m Tuesday at the Morrison Funeral Home in Bismarck.
