Funeral for Luther M. Ball, 87, Rt. 10, Athens, will be today at 3 p.m. at Mt. Carmel Church of Christ with Raymond Bush officiating. Burial will be in Dement Cemetery with Spry Funeral Home directing.
Mr. Ball died Monday at his residence. He was a member of the Mt. Carmel Church of Christ. He was a retired carpenter.
He is survived by three sons, Prentis Ball and Benton Ball, both of Athens and Howard Ball of East St. Louis, IL; three daughters, Naomi Garner and Wilma Thomas, both of Athens, and Addie Long of Harrisburg, AR; two brothers, Dewey Ball of Florida and Noel Ball of Athens; four sisters, Sue Hagood, Ruby Barker and Betty Maud Hooie, all of Athens and Alma Brooks of Trumann, AR; 30 grandchildren and 33 great-grandchildren.
