Grant A. Frakes, 92, of Marshall, died Tuesday, July 12, 1994, at Carrollton Nursing Home in Carrollton, Mo.
Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m., Saturday, July 16, at Sunset Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Rev. Claude Fields will officiate. Friends at Sweeney-Reser-Wills Funeral Home.
Born April 15, 1902, in Saline County, he was the son of the late Aaron and Hazel Frakes. He was a lifelong resident of Saline County and was a farmer. He worked at Saline County Farms for many years.
Survivors include a son, Timothy Frakes of Marshall; six grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; a brother, Happy Frakes of Grand Pass; a sister, Rosetta Parks of Waverly; a half-sister, Daisy Campbell of Marshall; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was proceded in death by several brothers and sisters.
