Burial at Mt. Nebo
Funeral services for Della Hazel Frakes, 15 year old daughter of Aaron Frakes who died Wednesday of a gunshot wound, were held Friday afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Methodist Church in Grand Pass, conducted by the Rev. C.. C. Cox.
The songs were "In The Garden", Have Thy own Way", and Rock of Ages," sung by Miss Bertha Gorman, Miss Martha Young, and Miss Helen Weymeyer and Mrs. Harry Byars. Mrs. Cecil Gorman played the piano accompaniment.
Burial was in the Mt. Nebo Cemetery. Pallbearers were James Ritchart, Milton Smith, Walter Baldwin, Walter Kusehel, Alfred Kusebel, and Armin Dotbugs.(some of the name of pallbears were hard to make out.)
–**Della lived her father, Aaron Frakes, and four younger brothers and sisters at her home: Aaron, Jr., Inez, 10, Charles, 8 and Donald 6. She was the housekeeper, since her mother had died two years ago. She is also survived by a brother, Albert Lee, of Marshall, and three married sisters– Mrs. Ellen Morrow of northeast of Marshall, Mrs Rose Arnold of Marshall, and Mrs. Daisy Banker of Kansas. There is also a large family of half-brothers and half-sisters of a previous marriage of Mr. Frakes. Those living in the vicinity are Grant Frakes of Marshall, and Lincoln and Mrs William M. Parks of Waverly.
