LINCOLN FRAKES DIES SUNDAY- Lincoln Frakes, 72, passed away suddenly Sunday afternoon at his home in Waverly. Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 2 pm in the Gibson Funeral Home in Waverly, with Rev Lannie Lyberger, officiating. Burial will be in the Pleasant Park Cemetery in Carroll County. Visitation will be from 7 to 9 o"clock this evening at the Gibson Funeral Home. Mr Frakes was born February 17, 1897 in Mercer County, the son of Mr and Mrs Aaron Frakes. He spent his early life in Miami and Grand Pass and for the last twenty years in Waverly. He farmed and worked on construction jobs until recently he became a commercial fisherman. Mr Frakes was married to Goldie Lybarger, 1926, who preceded him in death in 1938. Surviving are eight children, Jack of Marshall, Carl of Grand Pass, James of Waverly, Ernest Lincoln Frakes of Springfield, Mrs Deloris Wilson, Independence, Mrs Patricia Parker, Mrs Audery Brooks both of Muncie, KS, and Mrs Beulah Faye McClery of Springfield; two brothers, Grant Frakes of Miami and Charles Frakes of St Joseph; two sisters, Mrs Rosetta Parks, Wavery and Mrs Lula Lockwood, Winchester, Ohio; 26 grandchildren and several great grandchildren.
