Leo C. Smith, 93, died Friday, Sept. 17, 2004, at Bel-Wood Nursing Home.
Born July 27, 1911, in Mackinaw to P.J. and Adelia Looney Smith, he married Doris Travis in 1939 in Peoria. She preceded him in death. He later married Ethel Curry on Nov. 12, 1960, in Chicago. She also preceded him in death.
He also was preceded in death by one daughter, one sister and two brothers.
Surviving are three daughters, Diane (and Raymond) Lipschultz, Sandra (and Parker) Hacker, and Alice Stear; one son, Charles Curry; two brothers, Marvin (and Peaches) Beard and Eldon (and Florence) Beard; and two sisters, Myrtle Reed and Gladys Beard.
He owned and operated Leo Smith Trucking.
Burial will be in Parkview Cemetery in Peoria.
