Henry Hedrick died August 26th after a long illness while being taken to the hospital. Funeral services were conducted by Rev. Cary Blain at Swank Chapel Monday afternoon.

Henry Hedrick, 74, died August 26th while being moved to the hospital. Mr. Hedrick was born near Cherry Grove, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. James Hedrick, and spent all his life in that community. He is survived by eight children; Mrs. Lucy Waybright, Mrs. Virgie Barkley, Mrs. Maggie Mick, Mrs. Lonnie Nelson, Garrett and Okie Hedrick all of Blue Grass; Mrs. Medie Barkley, Hightown and Mrs. Laura Vint, Circleville. Four brothers also survive: Oke of Deerfield, Charles of Doe Hill, Frank of Elkins, and Minor of Elk Mountain. Twenty seven grandchildren and four great grandchildren also survive. His wife preceded him in death just six months ago. Rev. Cary Blain and Rev. K. A. Lambert had charge of the funeral, which was held at Swank Chapel and burial was made in the family cemetery near the church by the Brown Funeral Service.

Leonard Hedrick, 60, died near Franklin, West Va., Tuesday, Feb. 12. He formerly lived on Laurel Fork, W. Va., son of James Hedrick. He was the twin brother of Henry Hedrick.
