Mrs. Joyce Alfred Turner, age 79, of Lovelady, passed away Saturday, July 19, 2014 in Lufkin. She was born January 19, 1935 in Crockett and was a long time member of the community.
Mrs. Turner is preceded in death by her husband, Orville Turner; sons, Orville Turner Jr., Asa Turner; daughter, Terri Lowman; parents, Lawrence and Maggie Phillips Alfred; siblings, Mary, Helen, Ruby, Mamie, Nellie, Bert, Shirley, and Mae.
Funeral services for Mrs. Joyce Turner were held Wednesday, July 23, 2014 in the Callaway-Allee Memorial Chapel with Rev. Ottis Byers officiating. Interment will follow in Creek Cemetery.
