Mrs. Edna Pemberton, 76, Iberia, died last Thursday (December 17, 1964) at the DePaul Hospital in St. Louis. Mrs. Pemberton was born Oct. 4, 1888, near Brumley, the daughter of Henry D. and Mariah Graham Wall.

She was married Aug. 12, 1904, to Wade Pemberton, who survives.

Edna Pemberton was a member of the Brumley Baptist Church and the Sunshine Circle in the area west of Iberia.

Mrs. Pemberton was preceded in death by her parents, a son, a brother and three sisters.

In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pemberton is survived by six sons, Emil Pemberton of Iberia, Lynn Pemberton of Coal City, Ill., Victor Pemberton of Overland Park, Kan., Donald Pemberton of Cape Girardeau, Harold Pemberton and Jim Pemberton, both of Iberia; seven daughters, Mrs. Wilma Birge of Bloomington, Ind., Mrs. Gretchen Jones of St. Louis, Mrs. Sylvia Atwill of Iberia. Mrs. Pauline Livingston of Sequin Wash., Mrs. Maxine Deardeuff of Oak Harbor, Wash., Mrs. Jean Keeth of Iberia and Mrs. Janet Wilson of Springfield; 37 grandchildren, 20 great-grandchildren; three brothers, Lonnie Wall of San Gabriel, Calif., Joel Wall of Eldon, and Ralph Wall of Kansas City; and four sisters, Mrs. Walksie Maltby of Kansas City, Kan., Mrs. Nellie Jones of Olmsted, Ill., Mrs. Luna Martin of Kansas City, Kan., and Mrs. Hazel Martin of Etterville.

Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday at the First Baptist Church in Iberia with the Rev. Earl B. Brown officiating. Burial was in the Williams Cemetery, under the direction of the Scrivner-Stevinson Funeral Home of Iberia.
