Luna L. Martin, 91 of Kansas City, KS, died September 26, at St. Joseph Care Center. Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 29, at Maple Hill Funeral Home. She was born in Brumley but had lived in the Kansas City area most of her life. She was a graduate of Brumley High School and Warrensburg Teachers College, now Central Missouri State University, where she received her teaching certificate. She retired as a supervisor for Wolf Bros. Tea Room.

Mrs. Martin volunteered for the Franklin Center and was active in the Willard Avenue Baptist Church. Her husband, Earl E. Martin, preceded her in death.

Surviving her are a son, Charles H. Martin of Kansas City, KS; two daughters Peggy (Mrs Jim) Phalen, Kansas City, KS and Martha (Mrs Bill) Gillum of Sandwich, Illinois; two sisters, Nellie Jones of Olmstead, ILl., and Hazel Martin of Eldon; 10 grandchildren and 19 great-grandchildren.

Luna and her son Charles were cremated and their ashes were spread on Earl Martin's grave in the Curry Cemetery, Miller Co., MO.
