Earl Edward Martin, 76, of 206 N. Chestnut St., Eldon, died Wednesday, May 9, 1984 in a Kansas City, KS hospital. He was born November 5, 197, at Iberia to Frank and Lillian Lawson Martin. His mother survives at Waynesville. Mr. Martin worked as a tile setter and was with Slater Tile Co. for 30 years. He lived in Kansas City most of his life.
In addition to his mother, he is survived by a son, Charles Martin of Kansas City, KS; two daughters, Peggy Phalen of Kansas City, KS, and Martha Gillum of Sandwich, Illinois; his children's mother, Mrs. Luna Martin of Kansas City, KS; and 10 grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
Funeral services were held at 11:30 a.m. Friday at Phillips Funeral Home with the Rev. Raymond Davern officiating. Burial was in Curry Cemetery.
