Emil Kenneth Pemberton, 77, of Iberia died Wednesday, Jan 25,
1984, at Port Charlotte, Fla. He was born July 5, 1906, in Iberia to Wade
and Edna Wall Pemberton. On April 24, 1926, he was married in Iberia to
Edna Farnham, who survives at the home. Mr. Pemberton was a retired farmer.
HE was a member of the Iberia First Baptist Church.

In addition to his wife he is survived by four sons, Kenneth
Pemberton of Springfield, Robert Pemberton of Blackburn, Charles Pemberton
of Iberia and Ronald Pemberton of Columbia; a daughter, Alice Steen of
Grandview; five brothers, James Pemberton, Harold Pemberton and Victor
Pemberton, all of Iberia, Lynn Pemberton of Coal City, Ill. and Donald
Pemberton of Cape Girardeau; six sisters, Wilma Birge of Seymore, Gretchen
Jones of St. Louis, Pauline Livingston of Sequim, Wash., Jean Keeth of
Iberia, Janet Wilson of Florissant and Maxine Deardeuff of Oak Harbor, Ill.;
and 14 grandchildren and 14 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Sunday at the Iberia First
Baptist Church with the Rev. Haskell Orrick officiating. Burial was in the
Iberia Cemetery. The family suggests any memorial contributions be made to
the church.
