James Edward Matherly b. 21 Nov 1919 married Ruby Johnson. They had two children.

Nancy Belle Matherly b. 24 Sep 1922. Nancy married Jack Anderson (1915-1989). They had one child.

William P. Matherly 29 Nov 1924-1982


When Corinna married Lon Matherly in about 1917 she also inherited five young girls less than eleven years old. The baby, Bess would have only been two months, JoNell, three, Catherine, six, Louise, ten, and Mildred eleven.


Before he married Corinna James, Lon Matherly was first married in 1904 to May Long. May was born the 3 Sept, 1886 and died 18 Oct 1915 in Muhlenberg, KY. She had almost reached her 30th birthday. May's mother was Bessie Wyatt and her father was William Long, both born in KY.

Mildred M. Matherly born 19 Jan. 1905, first married Dr. Ralph Warmack in 1929. They had two children. They divorced in 1950 and in 1953, she married William Cox.. Mildred died the 3 April, 1993 in Hennepin, Minn.


Martha Louise Matherly born 6 Apr 1906, married Dr. Harry Johnstone Fisher, in 1935 in Chicago. IL They had one son and lived the majority of their married life in Hartford, and New Haven, Conn. Louise died 9 June, 1969.


Edith Catherine (Kathleen) Matherly born 15 June 1911 married Byron Velie in 1940. They had one daughter. On the 17 June 1976, Kathleen died in Honolulu, HA


JoNell Matherly born 30 Sept 1913, married Henry Charles Phillips in 1930 in Chicago, IL. They had one son. JoNell and Charles divorced and she married Floyd Alfred Bogen in 1941. They had one daughter, Linda, "Lynn" Nilsson Laikin who was born in 1943 and died in 2010. Jo Nell died in Florida.


Bessie Carolyn Matherly born 30 Aug 1915, married Edward Martin (1896-1962) in 1942. They had two sons. Bess died 29 Aug, 2004 in Russellville, KY.
